Baptism of The Christ

The three Alchemical stages - He enters the Nigredo: descent and dissolution into the waters of the world. Rising, He passes through Albedo: the cleansing light of the Spirit descending as a dove. And with the voice from Heaven, He is transfigured in Rubedo: the divine union of flesh and spirit, the incarnate Philosopher’s Stone.
